Bitcoin ATM firm CoinSource has just installed two Bitcoin ATMs in San Diego County. This brings the total number of San Diego Bitcoin ATM machines to three, and the number nationwide to 19.
CoinSource CEO and co-founder Sheffield Clark said in an announcement: “When we installed our first bitcoin ATM in San Diego in October 2015, Coinsource promised that we would continue to scour the area for more locations. We’re thrilled to offer three secure, fully compliant and always active bitcoin ATMs to the community.”
The newest ATMs were installed in Oceanside and National City (the original machine is in central San Diego). These locations were selected after market research factored in such variables as population demographics, adjacent business hours, and ease of access.
Regarding the new locations, Clark explained: “Coinsource is proud to announce that everyone in and nearby San Diego County now has access to a low-fee, strategically located Bitcoin ATM. We are scaling with the rise of cryptocurrency, and we chose these additional locations because we know how important convenience is to our customers.”
CoinSource installed its first Bitcoin ATM in San Francisco in 2016, and now manages ten ATMs in New York, two in Las Vegas, one in Philadelphia, two in Texas, and four in California.
